I'll Be A Monkey's Uncle

What is your favorite animal to watch at the zoo?  For me the ones that most often capture my attention are the monkeys. Their antics keep me spellbound and entertained.  Monkeys make us laugh, whether in the zoo or as a decorative home accent. 

When your home needs a bit of whimsy to cause a smile, consider these antiqued brass jester monkeys to help out in the kitchen. (1258-017)

For out-of-the ordinary lighting, consider this impish monkey who is being carried along by an elephant while holding his penshell umbrella.  The monkey and elephant are lost-wax cast brass and the base is hand-carved wood on black waxstone. (1743-204). 

This handsome  monkey (1943-130) was spotted reading at the Monkey Bar at the Hotel Elysee in New York City.  He has an antique brass and verdigris finish and his book is penshell with chocolate leather.
