For those of us old enough to remember when John F. Kennedy was president of the United States, we all know exactly where we were when we received word that he had died. That happened in 1963, and our young innocence was shaken by this tragic event.
Years later a major, unthinkable and tragic event changed our lives drastically. On September 11, 2001, we all can pinpoint exactly where we were when we received the horrible news, and watched the news media in unbelief.
May we never forget those whose lives were lost in this tragedy and their bravery. We pause today and throughout this weekend on the tenth anniversary of September 11 to remember.
